Every Althentic sofa is made to order

We do not keep sofas sitting in a warehouse waiting to be sold. When you place an order, your sofa is built and upholstered in the exact colour and size you chose. Nobody else's. That is why it takes 4 to 5 weeks, and it is also why you get a sofa made for you instead of whatever happened to be left in stock.

Your 4 to 5 weeks, week by week

Day 1 Your order is confirmed and sent to the workshop. You get a confirmation email the same day.
Week 1 to 3 Your sofa is built and upholstered in your chosen colour. We email you when production starts.
Week 3 to 4 Quality checked, packed and dispatched. You get your tracking number by email the moment it leaves.
Week 4 to 5 Delivered to your address.

You never have to chase us for an update. If anything slips, we email you first and tell you honestly what happened.

What delivery looks like

Free shipping on every order. There is nothing extra to pay when your sofa arrives.

Your sofa is delivered by a freight carrier. They will contact you to arrange a delivery window, and someone needs to be at the address to receive it.

Delivery is to your door. Our team does not carry the sofa into the room or assemble it for you, so please plan for an extra pair of hands on the day.

Measure before you order

This is the one thing worth five minutes of your time. Check the width and height of your doorway, hallway, stairwell and lift against the sofa dimensions on the product page. A sofa that cannot physically reach the room is the most common problem we see, and we are not able to refund a delivered order on that basis.

Changed your mind?

You can cancel for a full refund within 48 hours of ordering. Just email contact@sofvana.com with your order number. No forms, no questions.

After 48 hours your sofa is already being built, so it cannot be cancelled. That is the trade off with made to order, and we would rather be upfront about it than surprise you later.
